Building A DAW (Digital Audio Workstation)
Microphones Probably
one of the most important ingredients to the mix is what kind of microphone
should I buy. For run
of the mill BGV's (Back Ground Vocals) Shure makes some affordable Dynamic Uni-Directional
Mics.
For miking Drums there are a variety of value packs on the market. Drum miking
is one of the most challenging
areas you might come across. You could just mic the kit with two or three mics
to get a stereo and dead center pan
but you might want to invest in this area to mic each component to put the kit
in a greater perspective to the listener.
Or you may just use audio, midi or VSTi drum loops which could save you quite a
bit on mics and stands. Large Diaphragm Mics Marshall MXL2001P Condenser Mic W/MXL56 Shock Mt
